Auchenoglanis occidentalis (Giraffe Catfish)

I've been keeping this fish since February 2011, since it was 4".

The Giraffe Catfish was one of the more exotic catfishes around when I was a kid, and being finally able to own a 5 feet tank (still too small for this guy in the long run) I can finally keep this beautifully decorated fish.

This guy takes all sinking pellets and is able to match up with bigger & more aggressive fishes even though it's the most docile fish in the tank. It's forever vacuuming the tank's substrate and hence a very good cleaner! (till date my tank have no debris on the base)

After 8months, now at 14" hitting 15" soon.
